Sound familiar?

Is this assessment right for your child?

Many parents come to us because something just doesn't feel quite right yet. If any of these sound familiar, we can help.

  • My child starts kindy or school soon and I'm not sure they're ready
  • Their preschool has flagged some concerns
  • They're struggling with pencil grip, scissors, or sitting still
  • They find it hard to follow instructions or manage in a group
  • They get overwhelmed easily or have big emotional reactions

You're not alone — and noticing these things early is a strength. A clear assessment turns worry into a plan you can act on at home and at school.

Questions?

Common questions

How long does the assessment take?+

The play-based session with your child typically runs for 60–90 minutes. We then take time to score, interpret and write up a clear report, followed by a feedback call to walk you through the findings.

What age is the assessment suitable for?+

It's designed for children in the year before they start Kindergarten — typically 4 to 5 years old — but we also see slightly older children where school readiness is still a question.

Do I need a referral?+

No referral is needed to book. If you're using a Medicare care plan or a paediatrician's recommendation, bring it along and we'll work with it.

Is it covered by NDIS or Medicare?+

We're NDIS registered and can support self-managed and plan-managed families. Medicare rebates may apply with an eligible care plan from your GP. We'll talk you through the options on your free call.

What happens after the assessment?+

You'll receive a written report and a follow-up call. If your child would benefit from ongoing support, we'll explain the options — there's no pressure to continue with us.
